Silent Running is another good robot movie where Bruce Dern's character programs AI into worker bots. AI, the Kubrick parts were good but the Spielberg smarm at the end kind of ruined it. And, of course, the Terminator series when it comes to trusting an AI program. Anyway, it was an interesting read. I'm looking forward to the rest of your series.
